Join us for a special workshop with Aura Iris + Laila Textiles. We will discover the art of natural bundle dyeing while also learning about our Auras. In this 3 hour workshop led by natural dyer Liz Mortensen & life doula Claire Mooney , you'll learn the basics of natural dye and how to bundle dye with plants + get your Aura photographed and read.

Dye Workshop will cover:

• Basics of natural dyeing including fabric prep, mordants, and modifiers

• Overview of natural dye plants and how to extract plant dye

• How to naturally bundle dye fabric with plants

Each student will create and leave with a one-of-a kind bundle dyed 100% silk scarf as well as a PDF with information covered at workshop

Aura Photography

• Each person will have their Aura Photographed and leave with a polaroid photo of their Aura

• Learn about what each color, position, and shapes mean in your photograph.
